Hyer Mountain Farmhouse

The two-bedroom farmhouse sleeps up to five guests and has been part of the Mahler family's story for generations. The property looks toward Pioneer Peak and sits alongside the Knik and Chugiak bungalows.

The rental includes one bathroom, a kitchen, a washing machine, free Wi-Fi, and a playroom with a TV.

Little Susitna Hideaway

Set among 40 private acres near Hatcher Pass, Little Susitna Hideaway is a one-bedroom cabin for up to four guests.

The cabin includes one bathroom, a kitchen, a washing machine, free Wi-Fi, and access to a woodland setting with lawn space, a fire pit, and a sauna at the property.

Four Places, Two Alaska Settings

Gilded Fern's four short-term rentals are spread across two family-owned properties: Hyer Road and Hatcher Pass.

At Hyer Road, the farmhouse and two neighboring bungalows share the same property, making it easy to stay close while still having separate spaces. Near Hatcher Pass, Little Susitna Hideaway offers a quieter woodland setting surrounded by acreage.

Chugiak Bungalow

Chugiak Bungalow is another one-bedroom option for two at Hyer Road. Its place alongside the farmhouse and Knik Bungalow makes it especially useful for guests who want their own quaint space while remaining connected to others staying on the property.
